Welcome to the Sigma Sigma Rho Sorority, Inc. University of Florida Phi Chapter website! Established at UF on November 19th 2014, Alpha Ascendancy Line’s aim was to exemplify Sigma Sigma Rho Sorority, Inc. at the University of Florida.

We are a South Asian based Sorority that provides professionalism, networking, academic excellence, and most importantly a life-long support system. As young women in today’s society, we are committed to Domestic Violence Awareness and Prevention within the Gainesville Community. Phi Chapter has created a positive atmosphere so that Sisters of Sigma Sigma Rho Sorority, Inc. will graduate as positive young women. We are honored and blessed to be a part of an incredibly beautiful Sisterhood and we cannot wait to share our passion with you!
Sisterhood
Sisterhood is a huge part of our organization. Although we are a South Asian based sorority, we have many Sisters from several different cultural and ethnic backgrounds. Nonetheless, each and every sister comes together in unity to form a sisterhood unlike any other.
Society
Sigma Sigma Rho values the significance and importance of giving back to the community. Our organization's philanthropy is Domestic Violence Awareness and Prevention. We work with many other related service organizations to bring the effects of domestic violence to light as well as promote ways in which to prevent the violence.
Remembrance
Sigma Sigma Rho encourages Sisters to never forget the paths their ancestors have paved for them. Remembrance of who we are is important in being able to carry out the voices of our ancestors in society. Our organization embraces each and every sister's cultural ancestry as well as strives to educate Sisters based on the values and traditions of South Asian culture.
